Margaret Conrad Nickell writes from 27 years of educational experience-as an elementary, middle, and secondary teacher; a writing resource teacher; and a district-level technology coordinator.
While with the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), she was a statewide consultant for the KRIS assessment and accountability system. After that she worked for three years as a regional writing consultant serving the administrators, teachers, students and parents of 22 school districts. During that time, she was a contributing author for several KDE documents.
Since retiring, Margaret continues to consult with schools and districts throughout Kentucky and the surrounding areas, to research writing and literacy issues, and to write. |
