Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer are multiple Grammy®
Award winners in the children's music field. They have
been making music together since 1984 and have each been
performing for over 30 years. Their recordings have also
won numerous awards from the Parents' Choice Foundation,
the National Association of Parenting Publications, the
Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, and the Washington Area Music
Association.
Empowering educators and parents to find more ways to
include music in children's daily lives has been the
centerpiece of Cathy and Marcy's success. Their live
performances have set the standard for family
participation and fun, while their recordings have
inspired kids, parents, grandparents, teachers, and
friends to sing together and enjoy the magic of music.
Cathy & Marcy received the Grand Prize in the 2005
John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Children's
Category for the title song of the duo's new CD, "Scat Like That."
