Carol
Baldwin is a freelance writer in Charlotte, North
Carolina, and has written for a variety of local and
national publications. Baldwin developed Teaching the
Story from materials that she taught in several
different middle-school classrooms. She is active in the
Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators, and
when she is not writing, she enjoys being a mother,
grandmother, working in her husband’s dental office, and
gardening. You can contact her through Maupin House
