Mary Jane Reed

Mary Jane Reed was chair of the English Department at Solon High School for 18 years before retiring. She returns each fall as a writing consultant for the guidance department's college program. She is an Advanced Placement English consultant for The College Board and a freelance writer whose feature stories and articles have been published in newspapers and professional journals.

Mary Jane enjoys playing Beethoven's piano sonatas for her husband and two Bernese Mountain Dogs.
